Thank you for choosing us for your kitten purchase. We strive to make the delivery process safe, transparent, and stress-free for both you and your new feline companion. This Shipping & Delivery Policy outlines how we handle reservations, preparation, delivery, and what to expect along the way.
1. Reservation & Payment Confirmation
To reserve a kitten, a non-refundable reservation fee of $500 is required for each kitten.
A flat shipping fee of $300 is also collected to cover transport, crate preparation, and documentation.
When you place a reservation through our website, it is held for 2 calendar days as order processing time.
You will receive an email with instructions to complete payment within that 2-day window.
Once we receive payment (via our secure credit card system), we will send you a confirmation within 24 hours, acknowledging receipt and securing your kitten.
2. Preparation Time
After payment confirmation, we take 4 to 5 business days to prepare the kitten for transport.
During this period, we perform the following tasks:
Full veterinary health check
Final vaccinations and documentation (health certificate, vaccination record, etc.)
Grooming, microchipping (if applicable), and parasite prevention
Preparation of an IATA-approved travel crate
Scheduling transport with a licensed pet carrier and coordinating logistics
3. Delivery Methods & Timeframes
We offer two modes of delivery depending on distance, buyer preference, and cost:
Air Freight / Cargo Delivery
Transit Time: 1 business day (after dispatch)
Ideal for long-distance or cross-country delivery. We manage all airline bookings, crate handling, and regulatory compliance, so you have nothing to worry about.
Ground / Overland Transport
Transit Time: 1 to 2 business days (after dispatch)
Suitable for shorter distances or where air transport is not ideal. Uses climate-controlled vehicles and frequent rest stops for comfort.
Total estimated timeframe: from payment at checkout to the kitten’s arrival at your doorstep is approximately 6 to 8 days.
4. Crate / Carrier & Safety
We use IATA-standard travel crates (rigid plastic or metal) with adequate ventilation, secure latches, food and water bowls, and enough room for your kitten to sit, stand, and turn comfortably.
Each crate is clearly labeled with:
Your name and contact information
“LIVE ANIMAL” markings
Orientation arrows
For air transport, we coordinate directly with airlines or cargo services to ensure climate control, safe handling, and continuous care during travel.
5. Risk, Liability & Insurance
We are responsible for the kitten’s welfare until it is handed over to the authorized carrier for delivery.
Once the kitten is in the custody of the carrier, they assume responsibility for its safety during transit.
We work only with USDA-registered, insured, and experienced live-animal carriers.
We can help verify insurance coverage if requested.
In the unlikely event of injury or loss during transit, our liability is limited to refunding the purchase price minus shipping costs, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
6. Buyer Responsibilities
Before and during delivery, buyers are expected to:
Provide accurate shipping address, contact number, and special delivery instructions (e.g., gate codes).
Remain reachable by phone or email during the expected delivery window.
Inspect the kitten immediately upon arrival (within 30 minutes) and report any visible issues to us and the carrier.
Have a safe and prepared environment ready (food, litter box, bed, etc.).
Be available or have a trusted representative present to receive the kitten.
Failure to accept delivery at the scheduled time may result in holding or re-delivery fees.
7. Delays & Unexpected Events
Delays can occur due to weather conditions, airline scheduling, mechanical issues, or regulatory inspections.
We will notify you immediately of any delay and work with the carrier to reschedule the next available transport.
If a delay exceeds 24 hours beyond the original estimate, we will arrange safe interim boarding or reschedule at no extra cost to you.
8. Tracking & Updates
During transit, you will receive updates via email or SMS, such as:
“Departed Origin,” “In Transit,” “Arrived at Local Hub,” or “Out for Delivery.”
We encourage prompt communication with us or the carrier for smooth coordination.
9. International / Cross-Border Delivery
For customers outside the U.S. (or when crossing state lines requiring special permits):
Additional documentation may be required (e.g., import permits, rabies tests, or quarantine clearance).
Buyers are responsible for all import fees, duties, and quarantine expenses.
International deliveries may take longer due to customs inspections and airline routing.
10. Cancellation, Refunds & Rebooking
The $500 reservation fee is non-refundable under all circumstances.
The $300 shipping fee is refundable only if shipping has not yet been booked or initiated.
Once preparation has begun, any cancellation may incur administrative or veterinary costs.
If a buyer refuses or misses delivery without notice, return and re-shipping costs will be deducted from any eligible refund.
